Our Story

From our humble beginnings in the late 1970s, C.E.B. Group has evolved from producing and commercializing fertilizer products from agricultural waste to becoming one of Malta’s leading distributors of petrochemical-based raw materials. We’ve grown with the local industry, adapting and diversifying our activities to meet the increasing industrial demand for quality raw materials. As a second-generation petrochemical raw material distributor with over 40 years of experience, our activities keep evolving to meet the needs of today and the future.

Our Journey

1983

C&B International Limited was founded, initially focusing on the production and commercialisation of various fertiliser products for the agricultural sector. With the mid-80’s industrialisation in Malta, our activities significantly shifted, production activities ceased and distribution of petrochemical-based raw materials took over.

1999

C.E.B. Limited took over the Group’s distribution activities, becoming a reference for the polymer and chemical-related industries in Malta. Our materials are sourced from world-class manufacturers and are distributed in accordance with individual customer needs.

2006

C.E.B. Metals Limited, our former subsidiary, was instrumental in broadening our horizons into the non-ferrous metals sector. This venture encompassed the import, export, and recovery of these materials. We had also made our mark as an exporter of aluminium profiles, successfully introducing our products across various European Union countries. These activities ceased roughly a decade ago to fully focus on the Groups core activities.

2012

As part of our continued growth and diversification, C.E.B. Pharma Limited was established. The company primarily manages and operates Rational Pharmacy in Birkirkara and is further diversifying into distribution of pharma and medical-related commodities.

Today

CEB Group stands as a leading distributor in Malta, with diversified operations across four main industry sectors – Plastics – Paint & Coatings – Home, Personal Care & Industrial & Institutional – Medical & Pharmaceutical.
